To promote “Social Capital”, HKQAA has developed a Project on “Bridging and Bonding - To Create Measurable Social Benefits”, funded by the Community Investment and Inclusion Fund (CIIF). In the Project, HKQAA develops the Corporate Social Capital Implementation Guidance Document (GD) to assist corporations to develop Social Capital while performing their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

With reference to ISO 26000 Guidance on Social Responsibility, the management Plan-Do-Check-Act model, and six core social capital dimensions of CIIF, the GD provides a framework to encourage the business sector to build and utilise their Corporate Social Capital, be socially responsible, and create value for stakeholders. Furthermore, the enhancement of building Corporate Social Capital will be linked to HKQAA Sustainability Rating and Research (SRR) for Hang Seng Corporate Sustainability Index Series.

Meanwhile, HKQAA has developed the Draft Corporate Social Capital Implementation Guidance Document 1 (DGD1), which will be put forward for trial implementation by our collaborating corporations for preparing the final Guidance Document (GD). HKQAA organises training workshops from time to time to help organisations understand and make use of the GD. While encouraging cross-sectoral cooperation to help strengthen social capital, the GD provides guidance to assist organisations manage and assess their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) performance in sustainable development.
